Get the Luxe – Dare 2b’s Style Guide To Skiing

Sunshine, slopes and après-ski. Sure, skiing is a technical sport, but that doesn’t mean you have to dial down the glamour. Especially with all that mountain-top partying and lunching under the rays.

This season’s Luxe Collection wins the style race with on-point silhouettes and true outdoor performance technologies.

Follow our top ten tips for a trophy-worthy look on the slopes this winter.

1. Invest in a waterproof jacket that breathes. Nothing ruins your day skiing, or your look, more than that 'soggy' feeling you get when you're working hard. Our Convolute and Plica Jackets use insulated ARED fabric to keep you dry inside and out.

2. Remember - faux-fur is always on-trend at altitude.

3. Ski jackets take up space in your case. Wear it don’t pack it. Use your saved room for extra layers and sunglasses.

4. Slim-cut pants are a having a moment. Our technical Remark Pant and Shapely Trouser are fitted to perfection and are packed with user-driven features. The Shapely works off the slopes too.

5. Mountain villages are not made for heels. Opt for statement snow boots instead. Our Kardona Boots with diamond quilted insulation are favourites.

6. Most chalet bars are toasty warm. Pack sweaters that work on and off the slopes. The luxe Cajole and Irised are the perfect contenders.

7. Stretching weary limbs is essential. Those that don’t end up sore. Find an altitude yoga class for major zen points.

8. Long hair gets knotted. Tie it in a low ponytail then plait it for helmet friendly chic.

9. Squinting never looks good. Ensure you pack a pair of UVA/UVB protective ski goggles. Ours seamlessly integrate with our helmets.

10. Keep a coordinating beanie in your pocket to pop on after a long day on the slopes. It will keep you warm as your body cools down and keep your helmet hair under wraps.
