Service rating : I had to return a product, bought in the Sale, as it didn't fit. I wanted to exchange for a similar larger product at the same Sale price. The Sale had since ended but Dare2B honoured the Sale price from the time of the exchange
Product : Exactly what I was looking for my cycling commute ... rugged & a nice fit.
Service rating : Purchasing process was efficient and easy. Product delivered quickly. My issue is with after sales support. The shorts were on the small side and tight fitting. No mention in product description. I can accept that products will vary, but the customer services agent was not at all sympathetic or helpful. I was told that things like that happen and that it was up to me to return them and request a refund or larger size. When I pointed out that I had already paid postage for delivery and would have to pay again for the return I was told in an unsympathetic way 'that's company policy'. When I asked if I would be notified by email that my returned item had been received, and the refund paid into my account, I was told 'no', it was up to me to check. I often order items online but have never experienced a customer support response that was less than helpful and gave me the impression that the person couldn't care less.
Not impressed. If the response really does reflect company policy then it really is poor. I would simply have asked for an exchange for the next size up (even though I never have to buy everyday wear clothes in that category) but chose to purchase elsewhere because of my telephone experience.
Product : Shorts seemed well designed and made. Were what I wanted, but sizing was wrong.
I accept that cycle clothing often is 'on the close fitting side', but it would have helped to have information to that effect in the product description.
